Challenge

The Municipality of Parma faced the challenge of creating a standardized approach to support Data-Driven Governance. The main problem was the lack of a cohesive and shared perspective among the various public administration sectors on how to contribute uniformly to the creation of a Data-Driven Governance framework.

Solution

The software solution offers both data oversight and in-depth analysis capabilities, aiming to unify sectors in a common vision. This shared vision has been the starting point for the development of an increasingly complex idea aimed at collecting various data sources to provide information on different public administration objectives.

Ultimately, these objectives can coincide with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs): within the UN-SDG approach, any source of information can provide information on multiple SDGs. The flexibility of the solution provides the tools to manage this approach of widespread contribution of individual policies to the SDGs, allowing for the collection of data from different pools deriving from the evaluation of a policy.
